"You Can Turn to Me" Donna Hicks: Singer, Songwriter & Piano Bob Walker: Bass Guitar Bob Ego: Drums Wayne Morice: Remixed and Produced Recorded at Sundown Recorders in Edmonton Alberta Canada. Ego and Walker came together with a band called Witness formerly Witness Inc. After Witness split up Ego and Walker continued to record at various studios in Edmonton. Bob Walker is one of the most respected players to hail from Edmonton. He started his career in the 1960s with the psychedelic rock band known as Warp Factor. From there he spent time with Witness Inc., Spice, Ian & Sylvia, Granfalloon, and Privilege. Morice is a well-respected writer, arranger and versatile multi-instrumentalist. Wayne and Bob came together in the Canadian band Painter who released their first album on Elektra Records in Oct. 1973. It was a groundbreaking album, combining the elements of jazz and country with thunderous heavy rock instrumentation. The band toured with Procol Harum, Steely Dan, Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Sugar Loaf, Charlie Daniel, Black Oak Arkansas, Frank Zappa, Soft Machine, Lee Michaels, Brian Auger and Five Man Electrical Band just to name a few.
