Dr. Steven Feld talk about why SAR is unique and how it provides scholars and artists unparalleled experiences and challenges them to think in new ways. Feld is a MacArthur “genius” award winner, past SAR Board member, and SAR fellow. He received his Ph.D in Anthropological Linguistics at Indiana University in 1979 and has since become a Distinguished Professor of Anthropology Emeritus at the University of New Mexico.
