Spanning three original cuts of sample heavy groovers and a great remix from wonky house specialist Glenn Astro himself, this is one smooth record. Our pick of the bunch is the B1, aptly titled “We Need”. Right off the bat, Joe Cleen’s combination of slick filtering, bouncy toms, and crisp hats - all against the backdrop of one undeniably satisfying kick - get you in the mood to throw down. Soon joined by a piano sample with a tone that brings tears to your eyes and a delicate clap that’ll soothe your soul, “We Need” is a near-perfect warmup tune.
