Bush and Hu shaking hands in front of cameras STORYLINE Chinese President Hu Jintao told U.S. President George W. Bush on Tuesday that China will boost its cooperation with the United States. President Hu said he hoped six-party talks in Beijing regarding North Korea's nuclear ambitions would move forward. "We stand ready to step up our communication and cooperation with the United States so that we can facilitate fresh progress in the second session of the fourth round of the six-party talks," Hu said. President Hu joined President Bush in a brief photo session before talks. Bush said he intends to discuss the North Korea issue further in New York, where the two leaders are visiting to take part in the U.N. world summit that begins on Wednesday. President Bush and UN Secretary General Kofi Annan also fronted the cameras in New York.
