West Highland Way Day 5 04.07.2025 Bridge of Orchy-Kinlochleven Today is probably the worst trekking experience in my life, I didn’t mean I don’t like this whole day, however I felt so sick during the day. In the beginning it’s just windy and cold, then it started raining for a bit, then became a bit too wet and freezing, I almost couldn’t feel my fingers and I couldn’t even unzip my jacket, I didn’t have a feeling with my hands and I couldn’t help to ask for a help from my friend, in the end I tried so hard to at least arrive a restaurant in the middle of nowhere, there are not many stops in today’s route so it took me a while. After we finally stepped into indoor, I felt better immediately and I’ve decided to do a taxi for the rest of the day, its an amazing bed & breakfast with cozy living room and warm bedroom, we called a taxi who came to picked us in middle of nowhere, he introduced all the way like we hired a tour guide, then we went to a popular pub to have dinner on a sharing table with a couple, then we’ve been recommended to visit a waterfall nearby. That’s our day.
