Episode #9 of Shop'n with Larry. This is a Sea Lion 4 Cylinder Model Engine, used in the marine industry circa 1950's. This model is propane fueled and water cooled. Larry built this one from castings via hours of machining to the set of plans which were very challenging and there were numerous issues requiring modification and a lot of patience. This engine was designed by the late Edgar T. Westbury, circa 1950's. Enjoy the video and make sure to catch the slow motion segments in the latter half of the video to hear the internals of how the engine sounds.
