Soothing Hot Spring at Cost-effective Ryokan just a 3-minute walk from Echigo Yuzawa Station

In early March 2024 we stayed at Kyoritsu Resort "Yukinohana," a yukemuri no yado (hot spring bath) in Echigo-yuzawa, Niigata Prefecture. Opened in April 2019, the hot-spring hotel is conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from JR Echigo Yuzawa Station. The hotel has 30 of its 86 rooms filled with natural hot spring water, so you can enjoy hot spring baths in your room, as well as a hot spring bath on the top floor with a beautiful view of the mountains, and three private baths available for free. The guest rooms and facilities are quaint and relaxing, the kaiseki cuisine offers a taste of Echigo-Tsumari's seasonal delicacies, and the inn offers a wide range of services including a Sake tasting corner, a nighttime snack of Yonaki soba noodles, ice cream, and sweets corner, making this a highly satisfying stay overall. We stayed in a Japanese/Western-style room with a bed and sofa, another bedroom, and a room with a hot spring bath, which is a good deal for this type of room, and we had a very relaxing time.
