Update: The thrust washers behind the locking hub were installed incorrectly when I purchased the truck. The plastic nut actually goes between the two metal washers. Not as shown in the video. Video shows step by step how to replace the front wheel bearings on a 2003 4x4 Ford Excursion. The process will be the same for all 4x4 super duty trucks, F250, F350, F450 and F550 from 1998-2004. One thing to note when ordering the new bearings is the difference between the coarse and fine thread options. Most pre 2003 trucks will be coarse thread from the factory while 2003 and up will be fine thread. Coarse threads will be 14x2.0 and the fine thread will be 14x1.5.
