#RossellaLolli #walk #Clanezzo Testo: italiano / english Vicino ad Almenno San Salvatore (Bergamo) si trova il piccolo borgo di Ubiale Clanezzo, ubicato ai piedi del monte Ubione, nel punto esatto in cui il torrente Imagna si tuffa nel fiume Brembo e le Valli Imagna, Brembana e Brembilla si incontrano. Attraversando uno stretto ponte moderno si scorge in basso il medievale ponte di Attone, ben conservato e circondato da boschi. Si prosegue e sulla sinistra, dietro una cancellata, possiamo osservare l’elegante doppio loggiato del Castello di Clanezzo, un tempo maniero con funzioni difensive trasformato poi in palazzo signorile, infine oggi è un albergo-ristorante. Scendendo per un’antica mulattiera acciottolata, dove il tempo sembra essersi fermato, si gode del suono dell’acqua che scorre e del fruscio degli alberi. Continuando il percorso verso il fiume il sentiero serpeggia tra alberi e muretti in pietra, giungendo proprio al ponte di Attone (costruito del X secolo per creare una via di comunicazione per il commercio con i paesi al di là delle Alpi). Qui si trova anche il bellissimo edificio della Dogana con una splendida struttura a torretta, un tempo abitata da un custode che riscuoteva il pedaggio. Sul fiume si trova l’antico porto di Clanezzo, qui fin dal 1614 c’era un servizio di traghetto per attraversare il Brembo. Nel 1878 una piena distrusse il traghetto e venne costruito un nuovo passaggio pedonale: una passerella tibetana conosciuta come il “ponte che balla” perchè attraversandolo sembra di ondeggiare come su una barca. Dopo il ponte si apre una spiaggetta di sassi. Near Almenno San Salvatore (Bergamo) is the small village of Ubiale Clanezzo, located at the foot of Mount Ubione, at the exact point where the Imagna stream plunges into the Brembo river and the Imagna, Brembana and Brembilla valleys meet. Crossing a narrow modern bridge you can see below the medieval bridge of Attone, well preserved and surrounded by woods. Continue and on the left, behind a gate, we can see the elegant double loggia of the Castle of Clanezzo, once a manor with defensive functions which was then transformed into an elegant palace, and finally today it is a hotel-restaurant. Going down an ancient cobbled mule track, where time seems to have stopped, you can enjoy the sound of flowing water and the rustle of the trees. Continuing the path towards the river, the path winds between trees and stone walls, reaching the bridge of Attone (built in the 10th century to create a communication route for trade with the countries beyond the Alps). Here is also the beautiful Customs building with a splendid turret structure, once inhabited by a caretaker who collected the toll. On the river is the ancient port of Clanezzo, here since 1614 there was a ferry service to cross the Brembo. In 1878 a flood destroyed the ferry and a new pedestrian crossing was built: a Tibetan footbridge known as the "dancing bridge" because crossing it seems to sway like on a boat.
