Hotel Architect returns to the channel as we take a look at the lovely new Santorini map, complete with sun, sand and sea! Our Santorini hotel is on the beach, so people can nip out and get a suntan plus have a nice swim in the ocean. As such, one of the visitor types we need to attract are Sunbathers, but they need a particular room type and the hotel at a specific star level. With this in mind we need to impress the visiting critics so we invest in lots of things. More staff, more facilities, more decor, more plants, just so much stuff to help us become more than a two-star hotel! One thing we need to take into account this time round is the heat. It's quite toasty warm in Santorini (in Greece, lovely part of the world) so we need to unlock air conditioning pretty quickly and bring those temperatures down. There's also a bar that we need to build, plus a range of drinks we need to offer, and this is key because another type of guest we need to attract are the Brats, the fancy spoilt so-and-so's who expect a great deal, including fancy drinks.
