Continuing my obsession with all things long and eggy, here's my attempts to make a long scotch egg. In case you don't know, a scotch egg is a boiled egg wrapped in sausage meat, coated in breadcrumbs and fried. It can be eaten hot or cold, and frequently features in picnics. In this video I aimed to make a tasty long version, where the meat is tender and juicy, the white is firm but not rubbery, and the yolk is soft but not chalky. Want to try it yourself?
