My friend Chad, a proud owner of a Mooney texted me to go flying with him a couple months ago. Based out of Hartford, CT this special episode takes place on a calm, beautiful late spring afternoon in Connecticut. We filmed our flying adventure. In this clip we I showcase our preflight briefing and the departure out of KHFD using Runway 20. Set the manifold pressure full power and the rpms on the constant speed prop take us into the air. At the end of the video, I fly the Mooney from the right seat. A spectacular day turned epic as I piloted a Mooney for the 1st time in my life. Thanks Chad!
