A raw 4K descent of Colorado's 14,200ft Mt. Yale located just 20 minutes West of Buena Vista. My first 14er, and it was an epic one! Though, Mt. Yale is on the list of mildly difficult 14ers, I hear there are no easy ones. For those like me that are unaccustomed to high peaks and low oxygen, it's quite the challenge, but it can be done! The final half mile or so is a decently sharp knife edge with several rather exposed moves. This descent , shown here, is pretty intense, and the camera doesn't quite do the steep angles and sudden drops justice. Be wary if you plan to hike this mountain...
