On the Internet, it works as an identifier that helps you find and access a particular webpage, image, video or many other digital resources on the Internet. There are different pieces in a URL which are called components of URL, and each component has different importance. These components are divided by forward slashes. Usually the body of a URL includes protocol, domain name, path, and query parameters. Protocol indicates the method of communication. Such as HTTP or HTTPS Protocol, which is the initial structure of a URL and is preceded by a colon and two forward slashes. After that is the domain name which specifies the address of the website or server hosting a resource. After that is the path which specifies a particular file or folder within the website. And finally, the query parameters that define a specific webpage.
