I am liking the Firebrand, no deaths so far and still learning what utilities I have at hand. Effective DPS, good survival even without really knowing how to play this class. All that makes it fun for me, especially the no deaths part. I have gone down; but I don't blame the class on that as I am still trying to figure out my rotations and when I should be trying to DPS or trying to heal. I am not a really good player so I am not strong at either; but I can still function and not stress out over trying to play this class. Survivability gives me time to figure out the better buttons to push when and not panic over getting it wrong. Will continue to play this class for now, watch some videos on how to play this class and see if I can become faster and more useful in groups. Not that I have to run in a group; but if I can learn then the groups overall should all have better survivability chances if I am properly utilizing this class and I like being helpful if I can be. This video is perhaps a good sample of what GW2 looks like on a Saturday as well as which events in this area are getting more attention. It also shows me playing a class I just started playing and don't know how to play, which I think shows how easy it is to play for a filthy casual like myself. Lot of buttons; but unlike some classes that require a setup sequence, here it feels like "just push any button and and it'll be awite", mostly, lol. The "F" keys will toggle between heals and DPS, so once you realize when to use F1 skills vs F2 skills vs F3 skills and which weapons give you what then of course effectiveness will improve, lol. The initial area where I start is obviously well populated with rift running. The Event I drop in on was also well populated. The second area was less populated and that tends to be the case every day so far when I have been there. Fewer people run the rifts in that area and at times nobody runs the rifts there, my opinion is that those rifts aren't worth the fight. Easier to get experience, drops and progress when you can process rifts at a fast rate rather than slow grindy annoying fights for the same loot just with more effort and longer encounters resulting from the conditions.
