In this video we take a driver's eye view riding in the cab of a 45 year old loco through the heart of the beautiful Carpathian Mountains from the Romanian capital Bucharest to Brasov in historical Transylvania. This is a journey of two halves, with the route first crossing the plains to the north of Bucharest before steadily climbing through the Carpathians to top out at the summit at 1,000m above sea level at Predeal.
