Acute-on-Chronic Liver Failure- East vs West by Ruveena Rajaram, MD

Dr. Ruveena Rajaram is a Consultant Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist & Physician at Universiti Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) and UM Specialist Centre (UMSC), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She graduated from the University of Malaya in 2006, obtained her Membership of Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2012. She is a board-certified Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist since 2018. Her area of expertise includes advanced GI endoscopy (including therapeutic EUS and ERCP), advanced liver cirrhosis and pre- and post-liver transplant management. She is involved in international, multicentre clinical trials focusing on functional cure for CHB infection. She is also involved in the hands-on fellow-in- training (FIT) gastroenterology programme. The current lecture, "Acute-on-Chronic Liver Failure- East vs West" was presented at the INEDSYS Hepatology Club on October 29, 2022.
