Master studying with my book: The Psychology of Effective Studying. https://amzn.eu/d/hg0Bram In this video, I show you how to reference web page material that has been composed by one or more individually identifiable authors in APA (version 7) style. Please note: If you are just pointing to an entire website in your work, you do not need a reference in your reference section. For example, if I were to note that the British Psychological Society has a website, I would just include a parenthetical citation containing the website URL in my writing thus: The British Psychological Society's website (www.bps.org.uk) This would not need a corresponding entry in a reference section. HOWEVER, if you want to refer to specific content on a website you WILL need a reference entry. The most common scenario occurs when you find an article or piece of writing on a webpage of a website that you would like to cite and reference in your work. That's what I focus on in this video. NB. If webpage content has been authored by an organisation or a government agency i.e. there is no individually identifiable author, the format is a little different. You can find a guide to referencing such content in APA version 7 style here: https://apastyle.apa.org/style-gramma...
