In September 2025, MoSPI replaced the older Online Computerised Monitoring System – 2006 (OCMS 2006) with a new web based monitoring system called Project Assessment, Infrastructure Monitoring and Analytics for Nation Building (PAIMANA) as part of this initiative. The PAIMANA portal has been integrated with the Integrated Project Monitoring Portal (IPMP) of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) through APIs under the “One Data, One Entry” principle, enabling automated data retrieval from central ministries, departments and project implementing agencies. Since July 2025, flash reports generated through the PAIMANA portal have been published online and are available at https://ipm.mospi.gov.in/ReportPage. As of December 2025, 17 central ministries and departments are implementing central infrastructure projects with costs of ₹150 crore or more, which include ministries such as Road Transport and Highways, Power, Civil Aviation, Petroleum and Natural Gas, Telecommunications, Coal, Railways, Steel, Water Resources, and others.
