My intention was to get out of the city for a day and explore one of Luxembourg's smaller towns - Vianden. Situated on the border with Germany and split in two by the Our River, this is one of those unplanned days that didn't disappoint. After spending the morning walking trails by the river I head over to the recently restored castle and the quiet picturesque streets that wind their way through town.
