Trying some new colors combinations using three different techniques on the same canvas – a ribbon pour, a circle pour, and a flip cup. The canvas is 10x20”. Utilized Liquitex (LT) and Artist’s Loft (AL) paints mixed to a medium consistency using US Floetrol. Colors are AL Violet, AL Metallic Blue, LT Fluorescent Green, LT Fluorescent Yellow, AL Neon Orange, and LT Fluorescent Pink. The cups for the three techniques are stacked the same way with the same paint order. The flip cup is applied first, but not released. The circle pour is added to the center of the canvas. The ribbon pour is on the other side of the circle pour from the flip cup. Finally the flip cup is released and the paint was tilted, attempting to maintain the 1/3rd structure of the 3 techniques. Hope you enjoy this concept and will share your thoughts on how to improve it. Have a blessed day! Acrylic Pour Painting is unique in that it is a combination of artistic and scientific engaging the left and right brain. The consistency and the combinations of colors can result in many variations and experimenting to see what happens is part of the fun.
