Using leftover paints from earlier Thirds Pours for a Chameleon cell pour. The canvas is 8x8”. Utilized Liquitex (LT) and Artist’s Loft (AL) paints mixed to a medium consistency using US Floetrol. Colors are AL Violet, AL Metallic Blue, LT Fluorescent Green, LT Fluorescent Yellow, AL Neon Orange, and LT Fluorescent Pink. The paint is stacked for the flip cup in the order stated. The flip cup is applied and released. Then using coconut hair oil and a toothpick, I create chameleon cells. Be sure to wait to end of the video to see the process replayed at 20x speed – it is much easier to see the cells form and develop. Hope you enjoy this concept and will share your thoughts on how to improve it. Have a blessed day! Acrylic Pour Painting is unique in that it is a combination of artistic and scientific engaging the left and right brain. The consistency and the combinations of colors can result in many variations and experimenting to see what happens is part of the fun.
