I love this authentic Ghanaian way of making it, because the layers of flavor is just amazing! I can't wait for you to try it!!! And yes! I like to enjoy it with fried ripe plantain- nothing else!!!! lol...i am team no gari :) Black eye peas (beans)- 2 cups Palm oil- 1 cup onions- 2 large fermented fish (momone)- about a thumb size or more tomatoes- about 5 medium scotch bonnet pepper and petite bell chilli (kpakposhito)- 5-10 (use less if you don't like spicy food) smoked fish- mackerel and/ or tuna (or any meat of choice) SALT- TO TASTE; watch the amount, depending on how much momone you use Please try these recipes too!!!!
