We start out chilly this morning in the 20’s and 30’s. Highs this afternoon will be milder in the mid-to-upper 50’s with a mix of sun and clouds and no rain chance. Lows tonight will be in the mid-to-upper 30’s north of I-10 and lower 40’s at the coast. Our next cold front moves through Friday. It will bring a few showers and breezy conditions during the day, but the main impact comes Saturday and Sunday as dangerously cold air ushers in. Saturday morning, lows will drop into the teens and 20’s with wind chills in the single digits and teens. Highs will struggle to get above freezing Saturday, and with a gusty north wind, wind chills will be in the 20’s. By Sunday morning, temperatures will drop into the teens and 20’s with wind chills in the single digits. There is an EXTREME COLD WATCH in place Friday evening through Sunday morning. Temperatures do gradually go up heading into next week.
