After completing her matriculation with distinction, she entered into a job at the Indian Telephones. May be the first woman to get trained in this field. From childhood itself, her musical abilility was noted by many, including her master - Pakshiraja Iyengar. She got oppertunities in different venues and was recognised by leading members of the music fraternity as an upcoming talent . Amidst all the household chores, having five kids to look after, she started music classes to many children and adults in and around Kochi. She started writing classical kruthis as well. Smt Meenakshi Ammal wrote some kruthis even while she was in the hospital bed when she lost lost eyesight of her left eye. Her Mathematical astuteness in the genius class makes her a unique talent in mathematical space also. We shall all pray for the Aayurarogyasaukhyam of mami🙏🏻😊
