This episode of the Focus Sessions is made possible through the support of one of our partners - ‪@atrsafety8583‬ ATR is the world's number one aircraft manufacturer in regional aviation providing a new generation of turboprops up to 78 seats. It provides expertise and funding to the Foundation and is a partner in the first AviAssist Safety Promotion Centre (ASPC), the ASPC-Rwanda. On time performance, service improvement, reduced cost margins, safety and compliance are all 'must haves' but it makes for a complex environment. Damage from ground-related occurrences implies increased safety risks and economic consequences for all organizations involved. Service provider threats include high turnover of personnel, lack of positive safety culture implementation & lack of SMS implementation, or no interface with the airlines.
