Unscrew all the outside screws. They are all plastite type. The flash is fitted with three small machine screws. Remove the back plastic. Unscrew the two small LCD machine screws. Disconnect the LCD cable and remove the LCD. Unscrew the five silver plastite screws and remove the silver metal plate. Be careful, as this plate has a thermal pad underneath. Sometimes it is hard to separate. Unscrew one plastite screw. Remove the black insulation. Disconnect all ribbon cables. Disconnect the blue WiFi cable. Pop out the plastic part on the right. Remove the black frame. Make sure the WiFi cable is not stuck. Be careful with this frame, as it has a flash capacitor. Unscrew the five silver plastite screws and remove the frame. Unscrew the three sensor screws. Preheat the sensor slightly with a hot air gun. Separate the filter from the sensor using a knife. Remove the old double-sided tape. Apply new 3M double-sided tape. Place the astro filter. If needed, use additional shims or washers. The old shims on this camera were 0.3 mm, so I used 0.1 mm shims. However, you can assemble without shims, as this will not affect focusing to infinity. If the original shims differ by more than 0.1 mm, you will probably need to use additional shims to compensate for this difference. Do not forget that the black frame has a flash capacitor. I do not use gloves because I know where not to touch.
