Pacific national, the main intermodal company of Australia, is in charge of 6SP5 pacific national double stacked train from Sydney to Perth every week, NR's, 13 & 76 are used for it this week, passing it through Toodyay in the early afternoon. Pacific national intermodal's usually consist of many containers of companies like Linfox, FCL, and Lindsay transport for example. They also consist of cars, machinery, and crew barracks cars. Just like Aurizon and SCT, Pacific national by far the most, uses the double stacked container formation which uplifts the amount of containers that are able to be transported on 1 train, reducing the need for more trains, and making for a more effective way.Its like operating 2 single stacked trains in 1 train, if the train is mostly double stacked. PN has its terminal in Kewdale, just a little further than Forrestfield, by far the biggest compared to Aurizon and SCT terminals in Forrestfield. Toodyay station is located on the Toodyay road that branches off of Roe highway in Stratton, at the Toodyay road crossing. Both locos wear the classic pacific national livery with a yellow front, blue body, and yellow/white Pacific nations lettering to the side of the locomotive. 6SP5 is a Sydney to Perth freight. With SP standing for, Sydney to Perth, with PS, meaning, Perth to Sydney.MP stands for Melbourne to Perth, and PM, stands for Perth to Melbourne. Toodyay station offers a great vantage point to capture the freight trains and passenger services coming to a stop throughout the daytime. Enjoy the video! Have a great time watching.
