NEL KARTING È ANCORA POSSIBILE! L’anno scorso siamo riPASSati dal South Garda Karting per raccontare la Finale Internazionale Easykart. Abbiamo iniziato a farlo dal punto di vista di Marco Maestranzi per evidenziare gli stimoli e le sensazioni che un pilota esperto continua a trovare nella serie creata e promossa da Birelart. Due volte vincitore della Finale Internazionale nella categoria BMB Challenge, Marco ci ha portato dietro le quinte di una giornata nel monomarca più longevo del karting, ma anche della sua vita da driver coach che lavora spesso negli Stati Uniti. A più di dieci anni dal suo successo nella prestigiosa gara SKUSA SuperNationals a Las Vegas, il portacolori del team Emilia Kart si gode con serenità la “seconda fase” della sua carriera, anche quando le cose non vanno per il verso giusto ed è chiamato a fare grandi rimonte. Cresciuto con gli insegnamenti di Antonio Giovinazzi, ora cerca di trasmettere ai suoi allievi tutta la propria conoscenza, senza rinunciare all’adrenalina e alla fame di vittoria che sente quando c’è lui dietro al volante. Dalla calma di un pilota maturo all’agitazione di un meccanico che si fa travolgere dalla tensione, PASSando per l’emozione di un teenager che si ritrova a partire appena davanti a un campione italiano classe 1996: nel paddock si possono incontrare (e unire) tante storie diverse, accomunate dalla PASSione per il motorsport. Marco ne ha viste di cotte e di crude ai massimi livelli del karting internazionale e ora si diverte in Easykart, che rende possibile questa unione tra esperti e dilettanti, tra professionalità e svago, tra competizione e amicizia. Lo fa con la leggerezza che forse prima gli mancava, custodendo però la sua indole vincente. Venite anche voi e divertiamoci insieme! We started doing it from the perspective of Marco Maestranzi to highlight the motivation and excitement that an experienced driver continues to find in the series created and promoted by ‪@birelart7871‬. A two-time winner of the International Final in the BMB Challenge category, Marco took us behind the scenes of a day in the longest-running single-brand championship in karting, but also of his life as a driver coach who often works in the United States. More than ten years after his success in the prestigious ‪@SKUSAMEDIA‬ SuperNationals race in Las Vegas, the Emilia Kart team driver is serenely enjoying the “second phase” of his career, even when things don’t go his way and he’s called upon to make great comebacks. Raised with the teachings of Antonio Giovinazzi, he now strives to pass on all his knowledge to his students, without giving up the adrenaline and hunger for victory he feels when he’s behind the wheel. From the calm of a mature driver to the agitation of a mechanic overwhelmed by tension, PASSing through the emotions of a teenager who finds himself starting just ahead of an Italian champion born in 1996: many different stories can meet (and connect) in the paddock, united by a PASSion for motorsport.
