SOAR 2022 - Round 5

Going in to round 5 and looking at the points for AM SSP, it became clear that for me to win the championship I would have to win round 5 and both races at round 6. I would leave nothing on the table. Qualifying went well securing the front row for almost every race. I was ready for Sunday. The AM SSP race was the main focus on race day; luckily it was also the first race of the day. I had a strong start taking P1 immediately and my focus shifted to defense. ‪@zoltanfrast74‬ kept the pressure on attacking me every lap. I knew if he got by, I would have to attack back immediately or risk a gap forming and him getting away. Unfortunately, we ran into lap traffic on lap 9 and simply due to bad luck and timing, Zoli got by taking the lead. I was unable to chase him down and finished the race in P2. AM SBK and LE LWT races went well after some great battles! I'll be going into round 6 with the same drive and determination as I went into round 5 with; because this is racing, through the highs and lows, you never give in.
