Add measured water as per manufacturer (do not guess). Mix for 3–5 minutes until you get a smooth, lump-free mix. Do not over-water; it reduces strength. 3. Temperature Control Ideal grouting temperature: 5°C to 32°C. Hot weather → use cool water and start early morning. Cold weather → use warm water and protect from freezing. 4. Placement Technique Pour from one side only to avoid air pockets. Maintain continuous flow until the cavity is full. For narrow spaces, use funnels or pumps. Never vibrate the grout — it breaks the mix. 5. Flowability and Workability Check flow using a flow cone if required. Use high-flow grout for machine base plates and pedestals. Work within the initial setting time (usually 20–40 minutes). 6. Avoiding Voids Make sure the grout flows under the entire plate. Use head box or gravity feeding method if needed. Block opposite sides to maintain pressure. 7. Curing Start curing as soon as the surface hardens. Keep wet for at least 24 hours or as per datasheet. Cover with wet hessian or curing compound. 8.
