Finnair Airbus A340-300 landing Helsinki-Vantaa in icy conditions

Flight originated in Bangkok where the temperature was 36C. The weather in Finland was quite the opposite at -5C and foggy. The flight was largely uneventful apart from a few bumps along the way, but nothing to get excited about. The seat I had though was 50L and should be avoided like the plague since you get the pillar between two windows and have to crane your neck to look out of the one nearest to you, while the other one is too far away to hold the camera accurately. Breakfast was better than dinner and comprised of pasta with a delicious cheese sauce. But no snacks between the two meals and on a 10 hr 35 min flight, that's not so good. The whole flight takes place in daylight though and departs Bangkok at 09:10 arriving Helsinki at 15:15 hrs.
