Forging a Foot knife From rusty Metal File

‎Forging a Foot knife From rusty Metal File ‎ ‎In this project I transformed an old metal file into a beautiful and strong handmade foot knife. ‎ ‎First I heated the old file in fire until the steel became soft and workable. After heating I used a hammer to forge it into the shape of a foot knife blade. Once the basic blade shape was formed I refined and smoothed it using a grinder to achieve a clean profile and sharp cutting edge. ‎ ‎After finishing the blade I created the lower guard/base part of the knife. I fitted brass into this section and engraved beautiful decorative designs on the brass to give the knife a unique and attractive appearance. ‎ ‎Then I securely joined the blade and the lower part together.
