This was a great little weekend project that can easily be done with some scrap wood. I chose to go with a better selection of wood for this and I wanted to try a different finish than what I normally opt for. This new finish was so easy to apply and the results speaks for itself. How durable is this finish? Only time will tell with daily use. I originally set out to make the folding mechanism entirely from wooden dowels, however, the result was a wobbly table. I was able to overcome this by simply opting to go with screws instead.
