Progress on two locomotives GWR Half Cab and 1959 Triang Jinty

A workshop of two locos that were sent to me for repair. The first one was a old Triang 0-6-0 Jinty tank which ran very roughly and on investigation the driving wheels were very deeply pitted both on the wheel treads and on the inside faces of the wheels. By replacing the four driving wheels with the later see though wheels and axles an old model was brought back to life once again. The other Model was a GWR half cab loco which had lost the pick-ups which are sweated onto the motor retainer. By purchasing a more up to date motor retainer with motor the model now has all six wheels pick-up which makes a tremendous improvement in running.
