Me and my wife Nerissa head deep into the Newfoundland backwoods for a winter adventure. We travel in by snowmobile, set up our hot tent camp, and spend a night enjoying the quiet wilderness. During the trip we try our luck ice fishing for trout, cook some great camp meals, and on the way out we harvest a few snowshoe hare for the table. Winter camping in Newfoundland is cold, but there’s nothing better than a warm stove in the tent, good food, and time in the backwoods.
