In this vlog, I am taking you with me through one of the biggest moments of my life... surgery. I share everything from pre op to post op, including my daily life, the hospital experience, and the beginning of my recovery journey. I underwent knee reconstruction with patella realignment, along with a cadaver muscle attachment after dislocating my knee for the fourth time during my college freshman year beach volleyball season. This injury changed a lot for me, and this video shows the reality of what it is like to go through something like this both physically and mentally. Throughout the video, you will see my walking progress, early recovery milestones, and raw moments before and after surgery. This vlog is meant to be honest, real, and hopefully encouraging for anyone going through an injury, surgery, or recovery of their own.
