Recreating Mukoda's Rock Bird Nabeyaki Udon | Anime Recipes Campfire Cooking in Another World Ep 17 Nabeyaki Udon (Rock Bird Soup) (Inspired by 'Campfire Cooking in Another World' Episode 17) Ingredients: 750 ml Dashi Stock 200 gr Chicken (Skinless Breast, cut into bite-sized pieces) 1 portion Udon Noodles 1 large Egg 1 tsp Soy Sauce 1 tsp Mirin 1 tsp Salt (adjust to taste) 1 tsp Granule Soup Stock 1/2 tsp Ginger Paste Shitake Mushroom (Optional) Leek (White Part, Sliced diagonally) Green Onion (Thinly sliced for garnish) Kamaboko (Fishcake, Sliced - Optional) Ebi Furai (Shrimp Tempura - Optional) Salt and Pepper (to season chicken) --- Instructions: 1. Prep the Chicken: Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper. 2. Boil Dashi: In a saucepan, bring the dashi stock to a boil. 3. Season the Broth: Add the soy sauce, mirin, salt, and granule soup stock. Cover and bring back to a boil. 4. Add Main Fillings: Add the chicken, sliced leek, shitake mushroom, and ginger paste. Bring to a rapid boil. 5. Add Udon: Once boiling, add the udon noodles. Cover and let it boil until the noodles are almost cooked. 6. Add Finishers: Add the sliced kamaboko and green onions. Let it boil briefly, then turn the heat OFF. 7. Add Crispy Items: Place the ebi furai (shrimp tempura) into the hot broth. 8. Add Egg: Crack the raw egg into the soup. Turn the heat back to LOW and let it simmer until the egg is cooked to your preference. 9. Serve: Turn off the heat and enjoy your hot Nabeyaki Udon!
