P&O Arvia Mediterranean Cruise..Malaga.. I am in a lot of trouble ..

So at last after a couple of sea days we arrived in the port of Malaga . As we went out onto the balcony we realised that it was going to be a very hot day . Also in port and directly in front of our ship was the new Virgin ship Brilliant Lady . After our breakfast in the Quays we disembarked the ship and started our walk into Malaga . It would take about 40 minutes to walk into the centre , but we headed towards the beach first to have a little mooch around . In the harbour there were plenty of boat tours that could be had , and also as you got off the ship there was a Hop on Hop off bus that you could get on . So the first thing that we did once we got to the main part of the city was to get on a Horse and carriage ride that took you on approximately a 35 minute trip with the driver pointing out any interesting sites . The price was 30 euros for the both of us which we thought was quite good value . Then it was our time to do some exploring on foot , we found Malaga to be a very walkable city . We found ourselves at the Malaga Roman theatre which lies at the foot of the Alcazaba fortress. You need to pay if you want to go into the Fortress but you can see the Roman theatre from the side of the Square . After a Coffee we were back on our travels and after a bit more exploring we stopped for a drink at a local bar . We decided that rather than walk we would get the shuttle bus back to the ship , everything went to plan . Lots of availability and before you knew it we were back at the port . This is where my problems started and I was going to be in Pearls bad books for the rest of the day . So In Malaga before boarding the ship you have to go through the port security, so I took my bag , hat , and sun glasses off and put them through the scanner . As we got back onboard and prepared to go to the swim up bar I realised that I hadn't picked my bag up and had left it down in the port . It had our camera , wallet , cash ,and phone all inside . I rushed back down off the ship and found a security guard who happened to have my back at his feet , what a relief . So next we were off to the swim up bar at the aft of the ship for the sail away which turned out to be a fun afternoon. That evening we had a very casual meal in the 6th Street Diner , which was very nice , before spending a bit of time in the Amber lounge to listen to the busker Max . Then onto the Clubhouse for a bit of Pulse with their Country Music set , before finishing the evening in the theatre and watching the all girl trio Duchess . So this ended our first ever time in the port of Malaga , apart from my mishap we had a very nice visit and Malaga was even better than we were expecting.
