Pinetree Wood is my own mini nature reserve at the bottom of my garden. There are a variety of trees, shrubs and ground cover, with a micro pond as an animal water source, a bird table, a hanging feeder and a nesting box, which is usually occupied by Bluetits. Since January 2025, when I first installed a trailcam, I've seen foxes, hedgehogs, rabbits, mice, pheasants, cats and a large variety of garden birds. June and July haven't been so busy in the wood as April and May, with some days with no visitors at all. I tried putting the other camera by the mini pond and there were very few visits there too.
