Welcome to my journey in becoming financially responsible and secure and being more intentional with our money 🤍🤍🤍 I hope you enjoy the video! Please consider subscribing 🥰🤍 In today’s video I am cash stuffing Part 1 of October's Budget which is my own personal spending money 🎃👻 It is a smaller cash stuff than usual as I made a bigger purchase this month.. However, I was still able to add money to some of my sinking funds and savings as well as my monthly spending pots 🥰 ————————————— If you would like to follow me on Instagram - @taomebudgets TikTok - @taome.budgets ——————————————— The story behind it all… A few years ago myself and my partner decided we did not want to be a part of this consumer world we were in and decided to sell our home and move back in with my parents at the age of 28, along with our golden retriever… This was not an easy decision but it was the only way we would be able to see our dreams come true. We spent 2 years on an extremely low budget saving every penny we could in order to sell our home and our car (we owed more on a car than what it was worth, so we needed to save a lot of money in order to sell it and pay off the finance). We bought an ex delivery van and converted it on a budget into a camper van! We managed to save up enough money to buy the van outright saving us thousands in interest. We now have 0 finance loans and the only debt we have is student loans 🙌🏼🍾🎉 Our dream is to eventually both be able to work remotely and travel the world in our ex delivery Camper van! However, we are getting married next year so we are trying to balance saving for that but also saving for our long term travel goals. We have not always been organised with our money… when we were younger we lived pay day to pay day with our money… We had cars on finance, credit cards, a mortgage and we had no savings whatsoever! We decided to make a change starting with becoming debt free, creating an emergency fund, a 3-6 month buffer and also investing our money to make sure our long term future is secure. *I am not a financial advisor. This is my own experience of building a better relationship with money and becoming more financially aware.* #budgetwithme #budgeting #cashstuffing #savings #money #savingchallenges #financialfreedom
