Progress on the East Colfax Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project is rolling forward! RTD and the City and County of Denver recently tested level boarding at the new BRT platform at Colfax and Franklin. With platforms built higher to match the bus floor, customers will be able to: Step or roll directly onto the bus without stairs or ramps Board from any door for faster service Enjoy greater accessibility for wheelchairs, strollers, and bikes Level boarding is a key feature that will make the Colfax BRT faster, safer, and more accessible for everyone traveling along one of Denver’s busiest corridors.
