Potrait of Nastja Bremec Rynia (MN Dance Company) Video Portraits 2025-26 - Cross-border Film School [2/4] realized by Nora Horvat (Film Directing), Damian Comas (Screenwriting) and Hanna Toperczer (Film Production). This is one of the four video portraits created by the Cross-border Film School students during an intensive two-day challenge in their first weekend of classes in October 2025. The goal was to capture the essence of significant local figures in a very short time, testing students' skills to make quick creative and technical decisions. On the first day, through pre-scheduled interview sessions, students filmed their subjects, exploring the historical evolution, geographical identity, and cultural heritage of Gorizia-Nova Gorica. The following day was entirely dedicated to editing, requiring them to shape a compelling short story with limited time and resources. This series reflects not only the students’ adaptability and efficiency but also their ability to portray meaningful stories under real-world filmmaking constraints, uncovering the essence of a borderland rich in history and transformation.
