Serve it with crusty bread, mashed potatoes or rice for the ultimate warm and hearty dinner. 👍 If you love easy recipes like this, don’t forget to LIKE and SUBSCRIBE for more comfort-food ideas every week! ⭐ INGREDIENTS (Serves 4) 900 g beef chuck, cut into large cubes (2 lbs) 2 tbsp oil (30 ml) 1 large onion, chopped 3 garlic cloves, chopped 1 tbsp tomato paste (15 g) 1 tsp paprika (3 g) 1 tsp dried rosemary (3 g) 1 tsp dried thyme (3 g) 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (15 ml) 240 ml red wine (optional) (1 cup) 1 liter beef broth (or vegetable broth) (4 cups) 2 carrots, diced 2 celery stalks, diced 3–4 potatoes, diced (about 450 g / 1 lb) 1 bay leaf Salt and black pepper, to taste ⭐ INSTRUCTIONS (Quick & Easy) 1.- Heat the oil in a large pot over high heat. 2.- Add the beef cubes and sear on all sides until browned. Remove and set aside. 3.- In the same pot, cook the onion and garlic for 5 minutes. 4.- Add the flour and toast for 1 minute. 5.- Stir in the tomato paste, paprika, rosemary, and thyme. 6.- Pour in the red wine and let the alcohol cook off. 7.- Return the beef to the pot. Add the broth, Worcestershire sauce, and bay leaf. 8.- Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook on low heat for 1 hour. 9.- Add the potatoes, carrots, and celery. Stir and cook for 30 more minutes on low. 10.- Adjust salt and pepper, remove the bay leaf, and serve hot.
