Out & about at various locations north of Sydney's Central station plus various trains at Central itself. Starting with construction work to build new retail buildings adjacent to the lines leaving Central's suburban platforms, there's still lots of work to do there as the land is still being cleared & levelled. Various views of suburban, intercity & regional passenger trains and the occasional freight train. The episode ends with the departure of a Vintage Rail Journey from Central. This train starts the journey towards northern NSW but returns 5 days later from the west. Recorded on various dates in September & October 2025. Locations include Central, Strathfield, Woy Woy, Gosford, Hamilton, Newcastle Interchange, Telarah, Dungog & Scone. On train views from between Central & Strathfield as well as departing Woy Woy. ABOUT A MOUNTAIN OF WORK A Mountain Of Work was born in October 2022 while recording footage on a rail tour around Port Waratah near Newcastle. After many years of recording transport action by taking photos, improvements and popularity of the video format meant that A Mountain Of Work should be a video channel. The majority of footage is shot on various mobile devices with post production also performed on mobile devices. A deliberate plan was for A Mountain Of Work to be all about the subjects of the video and not the creator of the channel. As a result, there is no narration or commentary.
