A quick 3 night visit to Melbourne in October 2025 & lots of trains & trams were recorded on various parts of Flinders St in the Melbourne Central Business District. This is a part of the "Good Morning" series of videos which is hyper focused on a particular area or theme over a series of visits. Usually only recorded in the morning, there were some afternoon & evening recordings due to the limited time in the area. The episode starts at the corner of Flinders & Spencer Sts & features Melbourne trains on the viaduct between Flinders St & Southern Cross (formerly Spencer St) stations. At ground level, trams operate in all 4 directions of the intersection. Moving later towards Flinders St station, we follow the rail viaduct and east - west tram line of the route 35 (City Circle), 70 & 75 trams. On the way, we cross several north - south corridors before arriving at Flinders St station. Spending some time at the Elizabeth St & Swanston St ends of the station, there's no trams at the Elizabeth St terminus due to trackwork (see separate video). There's plenty of trams at the Swanston St end! Recorded on Tuesday 14, Wednesday 15 & Thursday 16 October 2025. ABOUT A MOUNTAIN OF WORK A Mountain Of Work was born in October 2022 while recording footage on a rail tour around Port Waratah near Newcastle. After many years of recording transport action by taking photos, improvements and popularity of the video format meant that A Mountain Of Work should be a video channel. The majority of footage is shot on various mobile devices with post production also performed on mobile devices. A deliberate plan was for A Mountain Of Work to be all about the subjects of the video and not the creator of the channel. As a result, there is no narration or commentary. The only noise you will hear while be those that are heard on location. Often, no special audio equipment is used. Any information featured on A Mountain Of Work is from publicly available sources. A Mountain Of Work is not associated with any transport operator.
