My name is Aaron Triefler and I am a product launch manager at Modernizing Medicine. Today, I am going to show you one of the great features in our Practice Management system - the ability to auto-post your ERAs. ERAs are dropped off by the clearinghouse every three hours and will fall into your ERA queue which is under post payments and then ERAs. From here, you have the option to auto-post. To do that, you're able to click the checkbox and select multiple if needed. Now on the right-hand side of your screen, you're going to go ahead and click on ‘accept and post.’ This is going to bring the ERA into the system, post everything that it can automatically and then leave any exceptions or anything that needs to be addressed for you to work manually. You'll go ahead and select your location, choose your posting date or leave it as the default, select your existing batch or create a new batch and click on continue. Then that ERA will begin to process. Once it's complete, it's going to drop into the Payer Payments tab and then you can review anything that has not been posted. It will show what is partially posted and you can work on exceptions. This is just one of the time-saving features of Modernizing Medicine's Practice Management system.
