Each year, a Carroll County nonprofit organization sends more than 1,000 care packages to troops overseas. WBAL-TV 11 News joined them Thursday morning as volunteers packed boxes that will go out this weekend. They are items most of us take for granted, but precious and in short supply for military members serving overseas. At the American Legion in Westminster, volunteers with the Carroll County-based nonprofit America's Warriors Care Package Projects are stuffing the boxes that will soon be shipped out to service members of all branches.
