Gone are the cobles and dust, replaced by slippery round rocks and high moisture levels. This basically looks like a completely different trail and is perhaps why this descent is my all-time favorite. Variety, spice of life. We descended for roughly another hour in the rain and made it out just before darkness settled in. I have been very fortunate to experience many different trails around the world, and El Choro sticks out in my memory the most.
