Video 108: Trains Around Aloomba | The Australian Trainspotter

In this video i went to Aloomba to hopefully see an Aurizon 2800 take "6798" from Portsmith Rail Yard in Cairns to Townsville where it would then continue onto Brisbane. I decided to go spot it at Aloomba as it is easily chaseable there and there are heaps of great spots to take pictures. While i was there i managed to see the Spirit of Queensland with train "VC75" and just as i was about to leave a very late Aurizon "6798' showed up. Unfortunately because it came so late i was only able to get it at 2 spots because the sun would of set before i could of got any more pictures.
